On this week’s show, we catch up with Owen Reigler in Southern Iowa, who shares a few tips and strategies as gun seasons enter the fold across the country.
Next, we head to Southern Illinois with Chad Holmes for a bow hunt on the day before the state’s opening day of gun season. Experiencing the full force of the peak rut, Chad no sooner climbs out of his stand for the morning than hears a chase headed straight for him. The following day, his son Casen Holmes heads to a Redneck blind hoping to cash in on opening day of the Illinois firearms season.
After that, we catch up with David Williams and Andy Melton who also gear up for the gun opener in Illinois. Hoping to key in on historical hotspots during the lockdown phase on their farms, the guys find themselves with back-to-back opportunities to fill their gun tags on two mature bucks.
