On this week's episode, we head to southern Iowa with Owen Reigler who is setting up his new RX-8 for the upcoming 3D archery season. Starting at square one, Owen takes us through his first seven steps in the process he uses for setting up a brand new bow, and shares a few tips and tricks that he has learned over the years working on his own equipment.
This will be the first of many in a short series that will see Owen set up his new RX-8 from Hoyt Archery from start to finish. So, be sure to follow along in the coming weeks.
In Part No. 1 of this series, he covers how to mount and pre-time your arrow rest, nock leveling, tying in your D loop, finding and adjusting your center shot, adjusting your draw length, and finally, fine-tuning the timing of your arrow rest.
He also introduces the new Sirius Archery Galaxy X arrow, which is just in time for the 3D archery season. We hope you enjoy the episode, and be sure to stay tuned in the coming weeks to see Owen's 2024 bow setup come to life.
