On this week's episode of the off-season show, we join Jared Mills as he punches his first Iowa turkey tag of the season. Then, as his season comes to an end, he starts to focus on the upcoming deer season and the projects he needs to finish before the October 1st opener. So, Mills heads down to the River Farm to develop a new micro plot in a strategic location, as well as prepare other plots on the farm for the fall planting season.
1:00 Right out of the gate, birds are gobbling on the roost.
2:00 There are turkeys all around, and Mills has a good archery setup in place. He's ready.
3:00 Shortly after fly down, two longbeards run toward the decoys, and Mills gets his shot.
7:00 Next, Mills talks about land management, and covers some of the things he's doing this spring and summer.
