Season 9, Episode 19

As we officially cross the halfway point of the best month of the hunting season, this episode of Chasing November shows no signs of the action slowing despite the lingering heatwave. Continuing his pursuit of the Iowa giant known as Junkyard, Kaleb Greiner sticks to his strategy of being mobile and trying new stand locations. The move yields yet another world class snort wheeze encounter adding to the tally of his already unbelievable season. Similar to Kaleb, Josh Sparks continues to try his best to put the pieces together on the buck known as Droptine. Identifying a pattern, Josh hopes this newest tree stand will be the deciding factor to finally getting the bow shot he's dreamt of all season. Over in Kansas, Nolan Redeker continues to write chapter after chapter with the Big 9 notching another encounter with the buck. Battling the heat, Matt Dykstra, a long time team member at Midwest Whitetail shows us that no matter what the conditions are, the best place to be is out hunting. Temporarily switching focus from the bucks he's hunting on a nearby property, Matt shifts attention to a proven rut stand he's hunted on before on the Iowa public land. The rest is history and Matt makes a perfect shot on a great buck. In similar fashion, Chad Holmes has a hunt that illustrates that the hunt is never really over until it's over. All around, the momentum is still taking us down this crazy ride of the 2023 hunting season and there's still plenty to see.
