S3.E28. "When the peaches are ripe, you better keep picking 'em." -- Michael Waddell. That saying holds true as Phillip Culpepper and Drake Lamb head back to hunt public land again in Georgia. It's day No. 3 on the open-to-all ground and the gobblers are getting fired back up. After a couple bouts with tough longbeards, Culpepper doubles up and tags out on Georgia public land.

1:15: Culpepper recaps the previous day and discusses how close they came to bagging a bird. It hung up, though, and he covers why the bird did what it did.

4:00: Culpepper and Lamb make a move on a gobbler they heard. Turkey sign is everywhere, and they're closing in on the spot they need to be in.

5:15: The tom keeps responding and the duo slowly walks the last few yards they need to cover before getting into position. Once ready, all it takes is a few sweet yelps and it waddles right to them.

9:10: Culpepper recaps the hunt and talks about how they moved in on the bird. Even though it circled on them, their game plan worked well. He even covers why he thinks the bird responded the way it did.

13:00: About 45 minutes later, they get ready to pack everything out, when another bird fires up and starts gobbling. They scramble to move in on the bird in hopes of getting their second public-land turkey of the day.

14:55: The gobbler comes in spitting, drumming, strutting and gobbling. It's even more hot than the first bird and doesn't waste any time charging in.

17:30: They talk about the hunt and enjoy the recent success they've been having. A true blessing from God. And in typical fashion, Culpepper discusses for the second time in a day why the gobbler he got decided to commit.
