Picking right up from Cooper Marine’s 170-inch triumph during the Iowa youth season, the unexpected hunting continues. With the weekend here, Mike Reed accompanies two of his daughters, Bella and Brynn, on a hunt that approaches perfection. Two great bucks fall in one hunt, propelling the team forward. Casey Maxted and his son Luke also have a great hunt and fill a youth tag. Then bow season arrives, and with it comes the return of many good bucks to hunt, setting the tone for the rest of the season.
