The finale of November 5th begins with a hunt that carries more meaning than words can fully capture. Rick Vergin, a longtime member of the Midwest Whitetail family—and, far more importantly to those who knew him best, an incredible father, husband, and friend—heads to the Wisconsin woods for a hunt none of us will soon forget. With a perfect 10-point buck in front of him, everything comes together for a moment that means far more than a punched tag. From there, the rut continues to deliver across the Midwest. Following his first encounter with Big Brow, Brandon Quandt makes an aggressive adjustment, hanging in a new tree in hopes of closing the gap. Brooks Kehoe finds himself in the middle of an incredible rut sit with multiple bucks on their feet, while Gavin Koterba continues grinding away on public land. Back in Iowa, Owen Reigler and Devin Wills bring out the buck decoy and quickly find themselves surrounded by action, with multiple great bucks working through the area. Everything rounds out with a great hunt that unfolds in Missouri, where years of work on the Buck 30 finally come full circle. Justin Luebrecht settles in along a scrape line, and when a storied buck makes his move, Justin fills the first tag ever punched on the property. Thanks as always for following along and we hope you enjoy this one!
