S3.E37. Drake Lamb and Phillip Culpepper get supplies, shelter-in-place and hunt turkeys in Mississippi. The two men work all morning and finally strike a turkey, but these hard-headed Easterns keep giving them the slip.
"I don't know if that's gonna be enough sugar cookies."
"I need some gloves."
"They were here within two minutes."
"She's on the frame."
"OK, we're good"
"I'd shoot a Jake right now."
"it's been a rough couple of days."
"Drake is finally in a better mood."
0:05: Lamb updates us on what's been happening in their part of the world. Right now, it's all about turkeys and rubber gloves.
1:15: Stocked up on groceries and turkey loads, they're now ready for whatever the COVID-19 throws at them.
3:12: No birds gobbled at daylight. They try every call in the vest and finally get two gobblers fired up around midday. They scramble to get in position before the duo runs them over.
4:40: Unfortunately, both birds are jakes. The two juveniles get a pass.
6:30: Naturally, Culpepper gets the buggy stuck yet again this season. They use the winch to get it out of the mud pit. The day ends on not much of a higher note. They do roost a bird, though. Maybe they'll get lucky tomorrow.
