S1.E12. William Altman is in the hot seat, and he's ready to tag a big Maine whitetail during the rut. He checks some cameras and prepares for the start to his deer season. Brett Joy and Ross Roberge are hunting, too.
00 Altman brainstorms what he plans to do for the upcoming hunt.
00 He checks some trail cameras, and makes a decision on where to hunt that afternoon.
00 Back in the field, Altman plans to hunt from daylight to dark. Eventually, he spots a pretty good buck working toward their setup.
00 The duo has some lunch, and stick it out in the treestand. They brave the cold temperatures and brisk winds.
30 As daylight fades, Altman sees a nice, young buck. But it isn't what they're looking for. They let it walk.
00 In New Hampshire, Ross Roberge and Brett Joy are planning hunts of their own.
00 Joy and Roberge head to their respective spots, and hope to fill deer tags. Will they?
00 A nice deer walks through the woods toward Joy, but they let the buck pass on by.
15 At the end of the day, the hunters reflect on previous events, and enjoy a little time and dinner together back at camp.
