As we near the Christmas holiday, we want to start by wishing each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas from all of us at Midwest Whitetail. On this week's show, we kick things off by joining Drake Lamb who runs us through his and Justin Karns's hunting seasons so far. The guys have seen some great bucks and with late season on the horizon, Drake tees up what we can expect moving forward. From there, we jump to a hunt with Mike Reed and Xander Reed who are hitting the woods fresh off of a recent ice storm. Tucking into a Redneck Blind overlooking a historically productive spot, the hunt that follows is text book and ends with a perfect heart shot on big 6 pointer. As Xander states in the hunt, "Gotcha" and the rest is history. From there, we join Kaleb Greiner who brings us up to speed on the second hunt of the episode. Casey Murrey and Kaleb have been hard at it all season long with the bow and after numerous close calls and lessons learned, arrives the 2nd Iowa shotgun season. The hunt's drama is high right off the bat as the duo have to sneak into the spot with deer already on the field.
