Happy Memorial Day to everyone. We greatly appreciate the service from the veterans who have served our country and pay our respects to those who gave their lives for Americans everywhere. We thank you for the ability to continue to live in this great country.
On this week's episode, we kick things off with Josh Sparks, who brings us up to speed on the recent severe weather issues in the Midwest. Many people have been left without homes, and some have even lost their lives (specifically in the Greenfield, Iowa area). If you have the means, we attached a link where you can donate to help those affected by these recent storms.

In Kansas, 21-year-old Nolan Redeker has just achieved a lifelong goal. He bought his very first farm. Through a lot of sacrifice and hard work, Nolan made a dream come true and we all could not be happier for him. Nolan takes us on the journey of how he was able to accomplish this feat as well as his first assessment of the farm. He also covers how he is going to proceed to make an already good farm even better.
Next, we join Mike Reed, who intended on a long weekend of work but was surprised as the River Farm steadily filled up with water over the first day. The next morning, the entire farm was flooded. Who knows what effects this may have on the River Farm in the future, but for now, we wait for the flood waters to recede and we can get back to work preparing for fall.
As always, thank you for watching. We hope that you have had a great holiday weekend!
