On this week's episode, we head back to southern Iowa for the annual shed hunt on Owen Reigler's property. With a pile of great bucks to find and a large group of friends, the goal is to top the "River Farm" shed hunt total of 51 antlers. With great weather conditions, the guys discuss exactly what makes it great in their mind, specifically to find more antlers. At the end of the day, the final antler tally reveals that it's the best shed hunt ever had at Midwest Whitetail with a total of 65 sheds in 7 hours! The highlight of the haul is a buck Owen knows well nicknamed "Houdini." A former world class buck that was packing roughly 190" of antler, has now lost over 40+ inches in the past two seasons. Though not likely, Owen dive into his hopes for a rebound going into 2025's hunting season. As always, thank you for taking the time to watch another episode of Midwest Whitetail!
