The Story Of Gator Jr, Charlie's Biggest Buck Ever
Season 8, Episode 30

Deer stories don't get much better than this one from none other than Charlie and Skip Sligh. No stranger to big bucks, Skip Sligh is known across the hunting world as one of the single most knowledgeable outdoorsman and habitat experts. Above all though, passing on the hunting heritage is at the top of his list of goals and we get to see that in perfect form on this week's episode. Having hunted many years already, Charlie has shot a few bucks, plenty of does, and is now taking to helping in the entire process of working on the farm. Going into 2024, a 7 1/2+ year old giant known as Gator Jr. was at the top of his focus to hunt and a timely September weather front gave him his shot. Accompanied by Justin Karns, the young gun made good on his opportunity seeing him tag his biggest buck ever. Help us congratulate Charlie and we look forward to seeing you back for next week's episode to catch up with Joe and Owen who tagged the first buck of the archery season. Good luck out there and thank you for joining us for another episode of Midwest Whitetail.
