Bill heads to the same ridge where he encountered the “Lone Oak Buck” the previous morning. Action is slow there without any hot does in the area. However, it picks up in the afternoon over a tiny, secluded Big N Beasty plot. Toward last light, a nice buck comes in that is all tore up from fighting.
Right in the core area of the “Lone Oak Buck,” Bill is setup along the top of a doe bedding ridge. Sitting near doe bedding areas during the mornings can be the ticket to seeing bucks this time of the year!
Bill decides to change things up and try his luck on a different part of the farm. This sit takes place at a secluded clover food plot inside the timber that is surrounded by bedding areas.
Dreary and windy conditions bring Bill back to the “Skinny Plot” in hopes of catching up with the “Lone Oak Buck.”
