S2.E1. Slade Priest and Ryan Wascom find success during the opening week of the Mississippi turkey season. Priest also talks about benefits of implementing controlled burns on your property.
20: Priest talks hunting land and wraps up some real estate work at the land pro office. He recaps what's been going on since the close of deer season. Now, it's time for spring turkeys.
28: Next, Priest features a tract of land currently for sale. It's a great piece of ground for those who love to hunt.
45: Then, he talks about controlled burning and how it benefits land. It's good for the forest, too. Protect your flora, fauna and land investment by conducting these safely and responsibly.
05: Turkeys are gobbling and they're ready for action. A big strutter enters the green field and slowly eases toward their setup. Priest takes the safety off and lets it rip.
55: With one bird down, they're back after it again. A bird gobbles on the roost, so Priest and Wascom move into position. It isn't long before the bird steps into the open and walks straight to them. Wascom gets his turn.
