S3.E15. Phillip Culpepper meets up with good friend and retired MLB player Ben McDonald in Mississippi. Both are avid outdoorsmen and love hunting. Naturally, they try and get Ben his first turkey. With recent college cancellations and online learning due to the COVID-19 virus, McDonald's son, Jase is home and wants to try his luck at turkey hunting, too.

1:30: McDonald and Culpepper talk strategy as they study the map of a farm they'll be turkey hunting on. Then, Culpepper hands him the gun he'll be using, which is the one Culpepper used to bag his first bird.

3:40: Then, they discuss a little baseball as they prep for the morning hunt. They might or might not talk about the Houston Astros.

5:11: It's breaking daylight, but the woods are silent. Turkeys aren't gobbling. They start moving around and prospecting for longbeards as the sun starts to rise. Finally, the McDonalds spot several birds in a food plot. Culpepper quickly teaches turkey hunting 101 before the crew makes a move.

8:20: The birds leave the field, and everyone sets up. Culpepper starts calling and gets several gobblers fired up. It isn't long before birds reenter the field and strut into range.

10:00: Culpepper uses a combination of yelps, fight purrs, squeals, whines and a barrage of other vocalizations to lure two longbeards from a flock of hens. They come in running like a pair of velociraptors, which is a sight turkey hunters love to see.
