S3.E19. Tyler Jordan is joined by his little brother, Colton, on opening day of the Alabama turkey season. The day before, during a scouting trip, Tyler located a few gobblers that were roosted. Now, it's opening morning, and they slip into the area before daylight. Shortly afterward, birds start hammering. After a few yelps, three longbeards run in to the H.S. decoys.
0:15: Colton gets ready for the morning hunt. Tyler fills him in on the game plan. They gear up and get psyched for the turkey action they hope is about to unfold.
2:05: They hear the first gobble of the Alabama turkey season. Cameraman Bryan Brown sets the stage and lets us know what's going on as Tyler and Colton work to get in position.
4:10: They set up and begin working several longbeards. They use onX to help determine where they think the trio of gobblers are located: https://www.onxmaps.com/
5:55: Several birds commit and pop up over the timbered rise. Tyler and Colton line up the sights and watch as three big gobblers strut around the H.S. jake and hen.
7:05: Colton tags the biggest of the three turkeys. Interestingly, after Colton rolls one, his bird starts flopping and one of the other toms rushes back in to beat up on it. Tyler quickly gets into position and fills his tag, too.
