After a blizzard the night before dumped almost a foot of snow in parts of Southern Iowa, Bill knew the deer would be on their feet and excited to feed. As the evening unfolded, Bill was able to lay eyes on a mature buck that is worthy of his hit list.

The “Plow Down Plot” is where today’s hunt takes place. With a weather front pushing through with a little snow falling, this should be the perfect combination for seeing deer in this plot. However, Bill ends up seeing more deer on the walk in, than he does from the blind!
