Bill heads back to the same ridge he sat the previous morning in hopes of catching the “Lone Oak Buck” checking out the doe bedding areas close by! November 7th is Bill’s favorite day to be in the tree stand. For the afternoon hunt, Bill’s cameraman, Drake Lamb, goes after a giant 8 pointer he has been getting on his trail camera.

Bill hunts the Skinny Plot in the morning of November 8. This plot is right on the west edge of the “Lone Oak Buck’s” range. Frosty, cold conditions have Bill optimistic that he will lay eyes on him as he checks the nearby doe bedding areas.
