On this episode of Midwest Whitetail, we kick things off in northern Missouri with Tyler Behlmann and his brother-in-law Jimmy Manaska. The duo are heading to the field in hopes of repeating the success achieved during the previous two hunting seasons. After an introduction to bowhunting back in 2021, Jimmy has successfully harvested two bucks over the span of two hunts and looks to capitalize on another using a decoy in early December. With less than ideal conditions, Tyler gets creative with his access using a tractor and deploys a decoy that proves to be the difference maker.
A few weeks later, we head to southern Iowa with Kaleb Greiner who is back after it with the bow in hand. Following multiple success stories with family and friends during the late season, he hopes to close out the 2023 season on a high note. After taking note of rutting activity deep into the late season the previous year, Kaleb decides to bring a buck decoy mounted to his bow and the hunt that follows is hard to make up! Be sure to tune in tomorrow as we bring another action-packed episode of hunting to you and as always, thank you so much for all of the support.
