Early season bowhunting can be a challenging timeframe to get an opportunity if conditions don't perfectly align. Weather conditions influence movement, food sources are changing, and if you're not close to a bucks bedding area - the challenge is big. For Drake Lamb, a buck has been on his radar dating back to the 2022 season on a permission property he's never found success on. Fast forward to 2026 and the buck has blown up into a giant framed 8 and for Drake the stars have aligned. On the commercial Ag side, a severe summer storm delivered hail forcing a replant on the large bean field giving Drake a late planted bean to hunt. Despite high heat, a pattern emerges slingshotting Drake and good friend Justin Fabian into a bow hunt they will never forget. Thanks for watching and we will see you on the next episode where we will be breaking down this incoming weather front next week!
