E10: Illinois Deer Camp Buck Down, First Hot Doe Of The Season
Chasing November

1h 1m
Late October presses on as the team experiences one of the best pre-rut stretches in recent memory. Mike Reed’s pursuit of the ghostlike Apollo temporarily pauses, shifting his attention to the River Farm. After a hang-and-hunt along the river, Mike and Rye watch an incredible evening unfold, encountering three mature bucks and what appears to be the first hot doe of the season. In Illinois, Brandon Quandt receives pictures of a new big buck—but an even bigger surprise soon follows. Edgar, the buck Brandon previously hit and feared the worst for, finally returns on camera alive and well, confirming the hit was non-lethal. Back in Iowa, Devin Wills and Owen Reigler have a front-row seat as a mature buck puts on a show, working scrapes and chasing does. Jeremiah Roberson begins a well-timed vacation stretch in Kansas with his sights set on a big 10-pointer, while Aidan Epperson bides his time, waiting for the right opportunity to strike on a property shared with Tyler Behlmann. And at Illinois Deer Camp, good friend Jared Larsen of onX Maps makes his opportunity count, putting an arrow in a buck as another memorable stretch of late-October hunting continues to unfold. As always thank you for watching this video and any other from Season 11 of Chasing November.
